On this day… a poem for mother

The Girl We Called Mum (from The Layers Between)old fotos (7)

She adorned the room with sunshine to disturb our

morning sleep;

Pinched snapdragon jaws during our midday reveries;

Culled comets in her apron, to kindle our dreams.

The only one, who knew if motherhood came

naturally,

was she.
